Teemanumero kytkeytyy Jyväskylässä 26.–27.11.2026 järjestettävään Korkeakoulututkimuksen XVI kansalliseen symposiumiin, jonka aiheena on Akateemisen vapauden rajat ja rajattomuus. Teemanumeroon voivat ehdottaa tekstejä symposiumiin osallistuvat ja muut akateemista vapautta ja sen rajoitteita tutkivat. Varsinainen kirjoituskutsu julkaistaan lokakuussa.
